Not surprisingly, many of the commenters — mostly men — had strong feelings about that. However, things may be looking up a bit, so to speak, when it comes to the stature-related stigma of shorter men, and dating them.

If you bring up your height, it shows that you are insecure about it — and to women, insecurity smells like weakness and makes them want to get away from you.
