LoginIt is a charming blend of story, humour, romance, exotic locations and energetic performances. A young man, while checking his dating app, is inadvertently separated from his Contiki Tour group and catches the wrong boat to an isolated French island. He is taken in to a convent and given a room by the fisherwoman nun and her vow of silence assistant. The young man is naively relating this story, which necessarily features his use of dating apps, in a pub to someone he has met on a dating app. He realises his faux pas but blusters on about the storm, the island and its fishing tradition and its famous fish stew. It is a fascinating story with charming and surreal elements but his date that night is is probably not the ideal audience. The production features a clever and well utilised set, which is continually rearranged by the cast to represent his room in the convent, fishing spots, the kitchen for making the famous fish stew and hidden nooks in the convent to hang out with the silent assistant. The soundscape sometimes drowns out the dialogue, which is a shame as the sounds themselves are well chosen and create a wonderful atmosphere.
