LoginWiki User. Atlas canning jars were made in the early ss. They were mass produced, therefore don't have exhorbitant value though people do collect them. Unless the jar is date stamped rare all you will get is a ballpark date. And, that is the early 's. Any Ball Atlas or Mason canning jar that is not a screw top is a collectible.
