LoginI hate your beard, but you might not have a beard December 27, PM Subscribe I have a lot of trouble feeling attracted to people with long bushy beards. On dating apps, often people will have some photos of themselves with that sort of beard, and others beardless or with beards groomed in ways that are not unattractive to me. I assume it's not cool to ask their current beard status before agreeing to meet up with them? On the one hand, it's a waste of time to meet up if they are looking for a romantic rather than a platonic relationship and I won't be attracted to them. On the other, asking questions that might make it seem like I think I have any right to try to influence their appearance is not okay. Once I'm already in a relationship, their appearance does not significantly affect my attraction, so their potential for future changes in beard grooming isn't important. I use apps both for long-term and casual relationships. Thank you for asking this!

Finding a fling or long-term thing in has not been an easy feat. Many singles decided to virtually date during the coronavirus lockdown and enjoyed socially distanced dates once things started to ease, and a lot of Brits headed straight to the dating apps. Tinder saw over 3 billion swipes in March following the government restrictions. The new way to date became known as iso-mating , but the pre-Covid dating trends still prevailed ghosting isn't going anywhere it seems.
